The day of the month to be reminded to go through the book — check the balances, let the prices refresh, push a backup. Blank or 0 turns it off.
Rates & gold
Entries keep the currency you enter them in. These figures are what convert them when a total has to be one number, and what a gram of gold is worth today.
—
Used for every converted total. A euro entry shown in rupees is multiplied by this; a rupee entry shown in euro is divided by it.
Physical gold is valued from its weight, not a figure you keep updating by hand: grams × the price above, in the entry's own currency.
Off — what is here stays on this device.
Pushes a JSON backup to a file in a GitHub repo you own, straight from this browser, when
you press Push now — nothing leaves on its own. What it sends is what you entered:
amounts, units and grams. Prices are fetched again rather than written down, so a backup
cannot go stale. Every push is a commit, so Restore an earlier backup is always the
way back. The token is kept only in this browser's local storage — use a
fine-grained token scoped to just this one repo with "Contents: Read and write",
never a broad classic token.
Import holdings
A holdings export from Zerodha Console, or a transactions export from Trade Republic — whichever it is, it will be recognised from the file itself. Read here on this device and goes nowhere.
Nothing is changed until you say so. What you already keep against a holding — its SIP, the day it goes out, your notes — is left alone; only what it cost and what it is worth are taken from the file.
Backup & restore
The same JSON the GitHub backup holds — one copy of everything, kept as text.
Restoring replaces everything currently in the app. Copy a backup out first if you are not sure.

One point a month — what everything was worth the last time you looked that month.
App lock
A PIN asked for when the app opens, and again after five minutes away.
Without the question a forgotten PIN would shut you out of your own book for good. The answer is kept as a hash, and matched with the case and spacing taken out.
This shuts the app, it does not encrypt it. What is stored on this device stays readable to anyone who opens the browser’s own tools — the PIN is for whoever picks up your phone, not for someone taking the device apart.
About
Asset Manager — assets, liabilities, goals and investments, kept on this device.
The app keeps serving the build you have until you press this — an update is a thing you decide to take.

Earlier backups
Every push is a commit, so each one is still there to go back to.
Restoring replaces everything on this device with that copy. It does not touch the backup — push afterwards if you want the backup to match.
Waiting to be pushed
This is what is here and not in the backup. Pushing sends the whole book, not only these — they are simply what has moved since the last one.
Reminders
Ticking one off says it went out this month. It comes back on its day next month.
